Position: Senior Network Technician (FTH)
Location: South Denver, CO (Hybrid 4 days on site 1 day remote)
Salary Range: $80,000 -$90,000 (With an extensive benefits package)
I am currently working with a very exciting MSP, that have been supporting various companies across the America! I am assisting in their search for a Tier 3 network technician. This is a full time salaried position, with an incredible benefits package!
This role requires a proactive, client facing network technician, to assist in the ticket management of the Service Desk, and to provide excellent customer service to external businesses. This role will be providing both remote, and onsite support, for their clients in Colorado, with around 5% of out of state travel for specific projects.
This is an immediate requirement, with only 2 interview stages aiming to be completed within the week. This includes a short screening teams call, and a technical interview conducted over teams.
This client also has an extensive benefits package which includes full healthcare cover (Immediate), 401K match up to 4% (after 1 year), 15 days PTO, Voluntary plans for Dental, Vision, Life, Disability insurance and more. There is also an end of year bonus which is tied to both company and personal performance, the average for this is 15% of the annual salary.
The initial salary budget for the position is between $80,000 -$90,000 (DOE) but could stretch for the right candidate.
Candidates will need to have experience with the following:
- Networking protocols such as: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, APR, ICMP etc.
- Full deployment of firewalls (Fortinet/ FortiGate preferred)
- previous customer facing roles (MSP experience preferred)
- HA Configurations for firewalls
- Fortinet hardware (FortiGate, FortiSwtich, FortiAP etc.)
- VLAN and network layering deep understanding
- Migrations to FortiGate (from Cisco, Juniper, SonicWall preferred)
- VoIP experience
- Network Secure protocols (SSH, SSL/TLS, IPSec/VPN etc.)
- Network Access control
- SAN or NAS for Enterprise Storage (SAN/NAS), including iSCSI
- VMWare or Hyper-V
- Office 365
Experience with the following is desirable but not essential for the role:
- Intune
- Azure
- Active Directory
- Sophos
- HP Aruba
- Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP etc.)
- ESXi configuration and deployment
- Citrix
